Real Person, Real Talk — the standard for the IDed public square.
Effective 2026-05-01 · Locale: EN
The Standard
IDed is a public square for humans. Impersonation of real individuals, automated scraping, and bot-driven engagement are strictly prohibited.
Zero-Tolerance for Bots
All accounts must correspond to a single, verified, living human being. Coordinated inauthentic behaviour, automation, and any form of synthetic engagement (likes, follows, replies) are grounds for immediate account termination.
Real Person, Real Talk
Speak as yourself. Disagreement is welcome; verbal aggression, harassment, doxxing, and incitement to violence are not. Verification raises the standard — it does not lower it.
Notice and Action
Verified users may report content via our Notice and Action mechanism (the report button on every post and comment). Reports are reviewed for compliance with EU law and these Guidelines under the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
Enforcement
- Removal of offending content.
- Temporary suspension of posting, commenting, or messaging privileges.
- Permanent termination of the account and revocation of verified status.
- Referral to law enforcement where conduct constitutes a criminal offence.
Appeals
Decisions may be appealed within thirty (30) days via appeals@ided.social. Appeals are reviewed by a member of staff who was not involved in the original decision.
